Emergency Dáil Legislation On Collecting Water Bills Due This Friday 14th November 2014

The Troika are back next week and they want the water charges paid as they were a key condition of the bail;out. So in advance of this visit The two government parties have cooked up a piece of emergency legislation to be voted on tomorrow. The cat is out of the bag and because of this the Dáil is currently suspended

DUBLIN GROUPS WANTED OUTSIDE THE DAIL ASAP IN SUPPORT TODAY AND FRIDAY 14th November 2014

This is Not about DDI or Sinn Fein or any other party … It is about the LEGISLATION Period.

THE GOVERNMENT ARE BRINGING EMERGENCY LEGISLATION TO ENACT IRISH WATER BILLS TO BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR WAGE PACKET AND SOCIAL WELFARE PAYMENTS

THE DAIL IS SUSPENDED FOR THE DAY … DUE TO MARY LOU McDONALD ASKING A QUESTION OF THE TANAISTE.

Tánaiste Joan Burton avoided answering two very important questions from the deputy leader:

1- Will you “give assurances to the dail that you will not allow for unpaid bill to be deducted from peoples wages, peoples pensions or peoples social welfare?

2- Will you “not allow for (revenue) ATTACHMENT ORDERS to be used by #IrishWater for unpaid bills?”

Mary Lou McDonald continued to say: “I know that house is sitting on Friday. I understand that there will be a vote on Friday. I wonder to myself, and there is some speculation that there might be some

EMERGENCY LEGISLATION presented on Friday perhaps to allow for these very things.

TANAISTE DID NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION … MARY LOU IS ON A DAIL SIT IN … REFUSING TO LEAVE DAIL CHAMBER UNTIL …. ?????

Right now people need to make their feelings known to ALL of their local TDs. Contact ALL of them and make sure they know the people want them to VOTE DOWN this emergency legislation. Contact especially the Fine Gael and Labour TDs and make sure enough of them cross the floor and vote with the opposition.

Tell them that any chance they have of ever being elected to any office in Ireland again depends upon it

If they do vote in this legalisation tomorrow we should storm the dail and kill everybody who voted for it.

Yes, it would turn into beings from the primal swamp too. .though, tbh, the thought has crossed my mind tonight. This is dictatorship if true.
And grounds for bodily carrying them all out of Leinster House – to the docks where they should be placed , in cargo, on a slow boat to their home in Brussels. They can have them. The whole lot of them. OMG. .

The water charges were not a key requirement of the Troika. Water charges had already been mooted. The Troika required money to be paid – they didn’t itemise where it was to come from. That stroke of genius come from our own elected ‘representatives’.

Indeed the scheme of charging for water goes back to Nice Treaty and the EU directive in 2000 where the principle of polluter pays, hence the charge for waste water measured by your water intake

Exactly because if it doesnt come from the water charges it will come from their wages and pensions, how many do you think will vote against water charges if all is left is to take it from their pockets, we are fuked

If this tax is taken from our wages We need national day of strikes across the board and the unions to support us.

We need to down our tools in this country and i mean everyone needs to come out on strike should they bring in legislation to take money from our wages or social welfare. We need an all out strike in the same light c.i.e or e.s.b or bus eireann strike when they want their rights. We may have to take pain to gain our democracy back.

It’s time we got rid of these two corrupt party’s FF and FG, it’s time labour foot soldiers threw out their traitors Burton and Gilmore.
We must fight, fight and fight again to save ourselves from this load of FG and FF crooks and their cronies and O’Brien and his ilk.

illegal, because the parent company of Irish water has private money and interests the revenue cannot collect it, also as Irish water is a utility company, and therefor the water charge is a utility bill revenue cannot collect. eg. the Irish state owns 100% of PTSB but if you fail to pay a bank charge or loan the revenue cannot deduct that from wages as its not a tax, revenue is there to collect tax and only tax. even if they did do it (I believe its a false threat) it would be likely struck down in court. our current AG is clueless and has been ill advising the govt. since day 1, there is actually no need for a referendum on same sex marriage but we’re having one anyway

Didn’t want the bailout in first place, so why should accept water charges which are part of bailout???

I do hope our people have a bigger protest sooner than Dec and have enough good stewards like the last one. I also hope trouble makers are rounded up and kept off the streets till every thing is resolved. Sinn Fein make friends with relevant independents lead by example condemned violence from all sides. If the government use a large force of Gardai just stand your ground and claim your right to protest. Try and have someone witness or record it.

Mary Lou McDonald is making a stand on behalf of every man, woman and child, The People Of Ireland salute you Mary Lou McDonald.

This is not about Sinn Fein … It is about this NEW LEGISLATION and the Irish People. Period. Take away the Political Party label of Sinn Fein … What have you … a Dail TD representing the true feelings of an overtaxed People of Ireland.

Mary Lou McDonald’s two democratic questions to the Tánaiste, Joan Burton during Leaders Questions went unanswered … then the Ceann Comhairle Seán Barrett adjourned the Dáil until 2pm next Tuesday. But she refused to leave the chamber despite being asked to by the Captain of the Guard in Leinster House.

The Oireachtas Press officer Verona Ní Bhroin clarified that Mary Lou McDonald has been suspended until the 19th November.

That leaves the Dail’s Ceann Comhairle in quite a quandary and in a bit of a tizzy as he was earlier today – there will be no Representative Democracy in the Dail Chambers until the 19th of November.

In the mean time … the Troika are back in business … back to put financial manners or matters I should have said back into the hands of the EMC hands which proves once again that there is no democracy left in this little old Nation of Eire.

We all know why the Troika are back in … they were invited once again to impose Irish Water Charges on an already battered, bruised and bullied compliant People – They don’t like Dissidents… because they talk back with the truth of being financially suckered repeatedly again, again and again.

They are also here to make sure their Bondholder friends in Europe get their hands on their superimposed Christmas Present of 9 Billion Euro interest only payment due in late December taken from the Irish People’s Taxes due into their then ECB Chief, Jean-Claude Trichet’s letter into the hands of the Troika by special collection no less … as i said … this is not about Sinn Fein’s Mary Lou McDonald … this is all about money, our money – not theirs. This 9 Billion Euro that belongs to the Irish People will solve all of Ireland’s water works in one foul swoop for the next ten years.

Where is Ireland’s Representative Democracy these days? Suspended again no less when it suits the Dail as in September 2008 – not whom it belongs too … the People of Ireland. Are we, the people asleep this time around ???

I’d rather believe the devil before a Labour TD. There have been secret meetings between Kenny, Joan, Michael and Brendan. Wait until next week and you will find out to your own cost.
