Direct Democracy Ireland and the National Citizens Movement have joined forces to offer citizens an alternative to the current non representative failed political system.

Direct Democracy Ireland and the National Citizens Movement are holding a press conference on Friday11th December in the press room of Buswells Hotel at 11.00am.

The Executive Committees of both Direct Democracy Ireland and The National Citizens Movement would like to take this opportunity to announce the joining of forces of both organisations into a new and powerful force in Irish Politics. Alan Lawes PRO for the NCM welcomed the development on behalf of the members stating he was confident that the supporters of both organisations would welcome this joint venture enthusiastically given the similarities in their passionately held views on Direct Democracy, Homelessness, Evictions the EU and so many other social issues.
The combined strength of both organisations and its national structures supporting ordinary citizen who have enough of this failed corrupt unrepresentative political system that is totally unaccountable to the electorate it took an oath to serve and protect.
Direct Democracy Ireland – a national citizens movement, is providing the opportunity to restore citizens authority using participative democracy which will return the power back to the people were it belongs.
Ends.

I welcome this move, wholeheartedly. It is a way forward, and anticipates a reason for more organisations to come together for the ordinary decent citizen, no left/no right but FAIRness.

Someone once said , I think he/she was Irish that “Timing is everything in politics” but just as important is not repeating the mistakes from the past. If your plan is to talk down to your fellow country person pushing your own covert agenda, religious beliefs and have him believe more empty promises then your dreams will become dust before your eyes. Everyone is sick of the shock on politicians faces when one get caught out and justice is denied by unholy privilege. I wish you well and hope unlike Enda Kenny’s revolution that only happened in his mind. Hopefully you can turn people back to politics because the only evil on this island is ignorance, fear breaths for it and we turn away for each other. Our differences become roadblocks built higher by those who see profit in others misery.
